Transform Your Smile With Dental Implants

From a single tooth to a full smile, your implants are designed for strength, comfort & longevity.

What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are a long-term solution for missing teeth. Whether you need to replace one tooth, several teeth, or an entire arch, implants are designed to restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. Unlike dentures, implants are fixed in place and don’t slip or need to be removed. They also protect your surrounding teeth and jawbone health, making them the closest replacement to natural teeth.

Treatment Options:

We offer solutions for every level of tooth loss, from a single gap to full arch restoration.

Single Tooth Replacement

  • A single implant to replace one missing tooth for a seamless, natural look.

  • The implant supports a custom crown that blends naturally with your surrounding teeth.

  • Unlike a traditional bridge, no neighbouring teeth need to be filed down.

Multiple Teeth Replacement

  • If you have two or more missing teeth, we can use implant supported bridges.

  • Two implants can often support three or four teeth, reducing the need for an implant at every gap.

  • This approach offers strength and stability while minimising cost and treatment time.

Full Arch / All-on-4 Implants

  • For patients missing most or all of their teeth, we offer full arch solutions such as All-on-4.

  • This method uses four to six strategically placed implants to support an entire upper or lower set of teeth.

  • Provides a stable, permanent alternative to traditional dentures.

Am I A Good Candidate for Implants?

Dental implants may be an option for many people who are missing one or more teeth. Your suitability depends on several factors, including your overall oral health, bone structure, and medical history. A comprehensive consultation is the first step.

During this visit, your dentist will assess:
  • The health of your gums and remaining teeth
  • The quality and quantity of bone in the area where the implant is planned
  • Your general health, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals
Some patients may need additional procedures, such as bone grafting, to prepare the site for a successful implant. Your dentist will explain all available options and help you make an informed decision about whether implants are right for you.

The Implant Journey:

Step 1: Complimentary Consultation

Meet with one of our clinicians to discuss your goals, assess your oral health, and determine the right implant solution for you.

Step 2: Digital Treatment Planning

We use advanced 3D imaging to design a precise, customised plan for your implant placement and final smile outcome.

Step 3: Implant Placement

The titanium posts are gently placed into your jawbone under local anaesthetic. This is a straightforward procedure performed in our clinic.

Step 4: Healing & Integration

Over the next few months, the implant fuses with the bone, creating a strong foundation for your new teeth.

Step 5: Final Fitting

Detailed records including scans or your recently placed implants are taken so we can start to manufacture your custom made crown or bridge work.

Step 6: Healing Review

About two weeks later, you’ll attend a brief review to confirm healing has begun and remove any remaining sutures.

Step 7: Custom Teeth Fitted

Your final crown or bridge is attached, designed to look and feel like natural teeth.

Step 8: Ongoing Care & Maintenance

Regular check ups and hygiene visits help maintain the health of your implant for many years to come.

Dental Implant FAQs:

Why dental implants so affordable at The Sydney Implant Institute?

We’re able to keep our dental implant treatments cost effective because every step of the process is completed in house. This allows us to maintain the highest standards while avoiding unnecessary external costs. We only use top quality implants and materials, ensuring exceptional results.

Are there any catches or hidden costs?

We aim to make our pricing as clear and straightforward as possible. In most cases, the price quoted includes all standard steps involved in placing your implant and restoring your tooth or teeth.

In some situations, additional procedures may be required, such as bone grafting or placing extra implants, to ensure the best outcome. If this is needed, we will discuss it with you in advance so you have a full understanding of the treatment and costs before making a decision.

How long will my treatment take?

Treatment time for dental implants varies depending on the number of teeth being replaced, your oral health, and whether any preparatory procedures (such as bone grafting) are needed.

In many cases, provisional teeth can be placed on the same day or shortly after the implant surgery. During your consultation, we’ll assess your individual needs and give you a clear timeline so you know what to expect at every stage of treatment.

Is the procedure safe?

At Sydney Implant Institute, your implant procedure will be performed by one of our highly experienced and skilled surgeons. While all surgical procedures carry some level of risk, single implant surgery is very safe and predictable. The area we work in has a low risk making complications extremely rare.

Is there a lot of downtime after surgery?

Most patients experience minimal downtime after a single or multiple implant procedure.

  • Single Implant:
Many people return to normal activities within 1–2 days. You may notice some mild swelling or tenderness, but this usually settles quickly.

  • Multiple Implants or Full Arch:
Recovery may take a little longer, with 2–5 days of rest recommended. Swelling and bruising can be slightly more noticeable, but this improves over the first week.

In both cases, you’ll need to avoid strenuous exercise and stick to soft foods for the first few days to support healing. Most patients can resume their usual routine shortly after treatment, while the implant continues to integrate with the bone over the following weeks.

I hate going to the dentist, is there anything I can do to make this easier?

Many people feel nervous about visiting the dentist, especially when it comes to dental implant treatment. At Sydney Implant Institute, we perform single and multiple implant procedures every day, so our highly trained and caring team know how to make the experience as comfortable and stress free as possible.

We offer a full range of anaesthesia and sedation options to help reduce anxiety and ensure you feel relaxed throughout your treatment. Our goal is to provide exceptional care in a friendly, non-judgemental environment, so you can focus on restoring your smile with confidence.

Risks & Considerations:

All surgical procedures carry some level of risk. While dental implants are generally safe and successful, potential complications can include:

  • Infection or delayed healing
  • Implant failure or loosening
  • Nerve sensitivity or discomfort
  • The need for additional procedures, such as bone grafting

During your consultation, our team will thoroughly discuss these factors, assess your oral and general health, and provide a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

*Individual outcomes vary. A comprehensive consultation is required to determine your suitability for treatment and to explain potential benefits and limitations.
