No, we don’t charge extras or have hidden costs. In a small number of cases, where bone quantity or quality is limited, we may need to place additional or specialised implants to ensure the best outcome. If this applies to you, we’ll discuss it with you during your consultation once your CT scan has been reviewed.

During your complimentary consultation, one of our surgeons and treatment coordinators will carefully assess your CT scan, oral health, and medical history. It’s extremely rare for someone to be excluded from treatment for medical reasons. With our advanced surgical techniques and expertise, there are very few cases that cannot be successfully treated at the Sydney Implant Institute.

Our process begins with a comprehensive assessment and detailed record-taking, allowing us to design a smile that’s completely customised to you.

In most cases, only one surgical appointment is needed. During this visit, any remaining teeth are removed, and the implants are placed. You’ll receive your first set of new teeth either later the same day or the following day.

After a healing period of three to six months, we’ll create your final set of teeth, incorporating any adjustments needed for comfort, function, and aesthetics.

At The Sydney Implant Institute we go to great lengths to ensure your teeth are designed to look exactly the way you want them. Everyone is different so shape, colour and style are tailored to your individual needs.

When you arrive at our purpose-built facility on Macquarie Street, our Nursing Manager will check you into our comfortable recovery lounge.

You’ll then meet with your surgeon and, if you’re having anaesthesia, your anaesthetist, to go over the final details. The surgery itself usually takes between one and three hours, and you’ll be completely numb throughout the procedure.

After your surgery, you’ll be assessed before heading home with a carer, as you won’t be able to drive. That evening, you’ll need to use ice packs and stick to pureed or liquid foods.

You’ll also be provided with prescriptions for antibiotics, pain relief, and medication to help reduce swelling.

In most cases, you’ll receive your new teeth the following day. This appointment is quick, comfortable, and doesn’t require any needles.

All-on-4 surgery at the Sydney Implant Institute is performed by our highly experienced and skilled surgeons. As with any surgical procedure, there are some risks involved. However, All-on-4 surgery is carried out in an area where complications such as excessive bleeding or infection are extremely rare.

Many patients are surprised to find they experience very little pain after All-on-4 surgery. While it’s normal to have some soreness, swelling, and bruising, discomfort is usually manageable.

We recommend taking a week off work and social activities to allow for proper rest and healing. Following surgery, you’ll need to stay on a very soft diet for the first month, then continue with a soft diet for the next three months as your implants stabilise.
